What Do You Want in Life?

Name what you need. Release what you don’t. Receive what you want.

I am currently taking a self-paced journaling course with Alex Elle and one of our exercises was to write down the things we are ready to release. I struggled with completing this task so much and I’m finally figuring out why. Letting go is scary. I know what I need to release but I’m afraid to open an old wound. I know what I need to release but I’m skeptical of change. I know what I need to release but I’m too comfortable where I’m at. Can anyone else relate?

We can’t embrace our new lives if we’re still running from our old ones. Every now and then we need to release the people, places, and things that no longer serve us.

Here are 7 Things I am Releasing:

1.     Procrastination

2.     Fear

3.     Desire to Live Up to People’s Expectations

4.     Comparing Myself to Others

5.     Desire to Be Perfect

6.     Doubting Myself

7.      Overthinking

Writing down the things you want to let go of is so freeing. Once you do so, you are making room for the abundance of happiness you deserve.

Now that we are halfway through the year, I think it is a perfect time for us to reflect and reset. Think about where you’re at and where you want to be.

Ask yourself this question, what do I want to receive in my life?

Make sure you are being intentional, specific and in alignment with your purpose.

Here are 7 Things I Want in my Life:

1.     Freedom- I want to spend more time with my family.

2.     Balance- I want to take good care of myself.

3.     Fulfillment- I want to help women reach their fullest potential.

4.     Happiness- I want to smile as much as possible.

5.     Peace- I want to feel seen, safe, and supported.

6.     Money- I want to live a life of luxury.

7.     Good Health- I want longevity.
